Are we a clan? – no. Are we a community ? - Yes
At Battle Worn Soldiers we are a gaming community. Back in the winter of 2003 two people named Kev and Paul come up with the idea of [BwS] as a small MOHAA clan.
In 2004 the original founders stepped down, where the running was then passed onto husband and wife duo Sarah and Simon. During this time we expanded further, joining many gaming leagues. However due to family commitments Sarah and Simon were forced to take a break. With this resignation both Cypher and CrazyShadow stepped up to lead the team. During our rich history we have taken on members from all over the world, including Eggsorcist who support the running of our team.
During the Autumn of 2007 we took the giant leap and went multi gaming, breaking away from our ‘clan’ tag and becoming a full multi gaming community. However many of our members wanted to focus on one game. So we played WOW full time, and successfully grown our wow team taking people on from all over the EU. But due to some internal issues we took a break and went inactive for a while until early 2009 when Pre-Dictible, z1nc and Matrix decided to get back online as a COD4 clan and we are hoping to step into the wide world of multi gaming again soon!
What makes us different?
We like to think ourselves as much more than a community that a guild. All our members are genuine friends and enjoy not just gaming but socialising in others areas. As a result we don’t have here today gone tomorrow members.
